ETRA Was here too!
The European Association Summit 2016
The European Association Summit (EAS) was held in Brussels on 31 May, 1 and 2 June. The event has become an unmissable opportunity to share information and knowledge, and network with other international associations. This annual peer-to-peer education and networking forum was organised in collaboration with the European Business Summit (EBS) and the leading partners in the sector: ESAE (European Society of Association Executives), FAIB (Federation of European & International Associations Based in Belgium) and UIA (Union of International Associations). ETRA is pleased to be a member and part of the team.
The EAS programme was designed by and for the associations that attend the summit so it is certain to cover the big issues you are facing. In fact EAS is the only event designed by association professionals for association professionals.
Year after year, attendees report how much value they receive from the EAS case studies. This year EAS brought together eight different workshops full of new case stories.
Peer-to-peer meetings are changing the world. At the EAS there is a unique opportunity to expand professional networks in many different directions.
EAS focuses on giving you answers. One new idea in 2016 was a special workshop with EAS sponsors, giving us the chance to work out future projects face-to-face with Brussels service providers.
ETRA attended because the event is an important opportunity to make appointments and to meet with other Associations that work in Brussels, to discuss many common issues and to find new ways to co-operate and improve our results together. The networking opportunities were really excellent and some follows up activities and meeting are in progress.
